Events at the Eliot Hall

At St Germans Eliot Hall, we host a variety of events to bring the community together

and support wider community events.

Upcoming events:

Christmas Wreath-Making

Wednesday 10th December 6:30pm for 7-9pm in the Eliot Hall St Germans

Join us for a fun evening workshop to create a Christmas foliage wreath for your front door and help support your community village hall.

Wreath base, wire, locally sourced foliage & decorative
ribbon is provided. Please feel free to bring anything else you would like to add to your wreath.

Extra items also available to buy - please bring cash.

Prices:

£20 inc. tea/coffee + mince pie

£25 inc. mulled wine + mince pie

All welcome, any children to be accompanied by a paying adult. No experience necessary.

Guest Speaker: Sue Minter

St Germans and District Garden Club

Wednesday 19th  November 7pm for 7:30pm in the Eliot Hall St Germans

Sue is a semi-retired professional horticulturist and a past president of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture.

Her work in botanic gardens has seen her as supervisor of the Palm House at Kew in the 1980s, curator of the Chelsea Physic Garden in the 1990s and then on to be the horticultural director of the Eden Project.

She has lived in the South West since 2001.

Her topic will be THE HEALING GARDEN.

"Nice" brought to you by Carn to Cove

Saturday 4th October 2025, doors and cash bar open 6:30pm for 7pm start.

Nice is a home-made variety show performed by Cornish puppeteers and musicians Matthew Robins & Tim Spooner, with stories, songs, exquisite shadow puppets, games, puppet-making.
